Jake, originally from Austin, Texas, is a sophomore in CC studying environmental biology. He grew up sailing and racing Optis in lakes around his hometown but has also sailed lasers, FJs, and 420s. Outside of academics, Jake enjoys spending time outdoors, with friends, and playing guitar. He looks forward to an excellent, and safe, year with Columbia Sailing!
