ICSA James Rousmaniere Award for Student Leadership

Past captain Alexander Vincenti won the ICSA James Rousmaniere Award for Student Leadership and the MAISA Purrington Award! He will be the first sailor at Columbia to ever be inducted into the ICSA Hall of Fame. This is an incredible achievement for him and for our team. Everything about the award is detailed here on the ICSA Hall of Fame website.

Alex was a driving factor in partnering Columbia Sailing with Larchmont, and has co-captained the team for two years, building membership, establishing strong relations with the university, and reconnecting with our alumni. Without Alex, we wouldn’t have the team or the success we have today. He truly has the lion’s heart and we are so proud!
