Our lions experienced a wide range of conditions during the Long Island Sound Intercollegiate Offshore Regatta hosted by Storm TrySail and LYC on Oct 10-11. From gentle breezes and clear skies to stormy gusts and 4-foot swells, we navigated it all with the help of Paul Beaudin, the owner of Loulou and our safety officer on board.
We are proud to walk away with not only 1st place in our J/105 division, but also the Paul Hoffman Trophy as overall champions! We are so grateful for all of the staff, volunteers, coaches, and especially Paul Beaudin for the opportunity and support to compete in this regatta and we look forward to defending our title next year!
